Turian Wine: is a thick sweet wine that is made from ta grapes, of Turia it is stored in bottles in the cold room..... turian wine is served in goblets ..the wine is served either at room temperature or cold.
Paga :Paga is a very strong alcoholic beverage distilled from the Sa-Tarna grain, and similar to whiskey of Earth. Paga is a rancid, lumpy brew, light golden in color, made only for the palette of strong Warriors; while it is often served warm, there are regional differences in taste and presentation.Sometimes in the popular halls it is served from a large pitcher, high-handled for dipping into a warming kettle to make it quickly and easily refilled before serving many patrons without the time to refill on each serve. served in a bowl.
Chocolate : Chocolate is a very expensive drink and isn't served often, it is made from beans brought back on one of the early Voyages of Acquisition, this is the same as the chocolate of Earth. It is normally served in the more higher class establishments... Served hot or cold..IT is a rich ...creamy, sweet beverage.. warmed hot chocolate is warmed in a kettle over the fires....served hot in a heavy mug or cold in a goblet.
Kalana: is a ruby red wine, fermented from the fruit of the yellow-wood ka-la-na tree, variously described as rich and delicate as well as bright, dry, and powerful. it can be served cold, warm or even hot.generally served in a goblet of glass or stone ** not metal **

Nicely done nicely done! Fully answered. A little more info,Paga, means what?
The Older Tarl and I may have drunk too much of that fermented brew concocted with fiendish skill from the yellow grain, Sa-Tarna, and called Pagar Sa-Tarna, Pleasure of the Life-Daughter, but almost always "Paga" for short. I doubted that I would ever touch the stuff again.
- Tarnsmen of Gor p 60-61
Also there are other uses for paga, can you think of what some of them would be as a potent alcohol?
The lumply paga you speak of is sul-paga, a cheap paga made from the suls, and generally drank by the poorer or the peasants. Whereas the Sa-Tarna Paga is like earth whisky, Sul Paga is like earth vodka, but it is rare that you would ever be asked to serve this. Yes served in a bowl but there are generally two peculiarities about the bowl what would they be? t
On the kalana you say, it is not served in a metal goblet.....why is that? Can you support this with a quote **note: this is a trick question. Where is it generally r knostored?
Looking forward to the answers and expansion of your k nowledge, you already possess!! Awesome girl!!!
Affectionately,
Karinna

taki hopes this answers Your questions Mistress.. she cannot find the reference to the metal ...she will however keep looking....
re paga .... the common abbreviated form Pagar - Sa - Tarna meaning "pleasure of the life daughter" this expression is known to be related to the Sa -Tassna , the expression for meat, and food in general..... which is referred to mean Life - Mother another form of paga would be as in a paga slave....(Paga Slave)... this term is used in reference to slaves that are owned by paga tavern owners.... using a paga slave for a ahn is normally included in the price of the drink....
green paga is spoken of being used to sterilize and clean a wound. but hasn't seen a known quote on it....
there is also Sul paga..... said to be the most potent alcohol available on Gor....... it is also close to being tasteless....also it is called Gorean moonshine....it is clear as water... Sula paga is distilled from Suls..a tuberous root if the Sul plant..... something like a potato...
Sul paga appears to be only brewed in Peasant villages, in stills with their variety of tanks and pipes.
"Sul paga may be the most potent alcohol available on Gor. "Sul paga would slow a tharlarion. To stay on your feet after a mouthful of Sul paga it is said one must be of the peasants, and then for several generations. And even then, it is said, it is difficult to manage. " (Slave Girl of Gor, p.414) This emphasizes the strength of Peasants, just as their use of the long bow does. Sul paga is also tasteless. "Excellent," said my master, sipping the Sul paga. He could have been commenting only on the potency of the drink, for Sul paga is almost tasteless. One does not guzzle Sul paga." (Slave Girl of Gor, p.134) One slave, who had only a single mouthful, realized the potency of Sul paga. "Last night one of the men had held my head back and forced me to swallow a mouthful. In moments things had gone black, and I had fallen unconscious. I had awakened only this morning, ill, miserable, with a splitting headache, chained with the other girls." (Slave Girl of Gor, p.134) All from a simple mouthful.
kalana like most wines is bottled and kept in wine skins or botas, in some cases flasks.... Sometimes it is diluted with warm water before serving and can be either sweet or dry. Other Men prefer to have it warmed over a fire in a copper bowl and served in a wine crater. Ka-la-na is also sometimes warmed over a fire, and spices added; this is like the mulled wines on Earth. the bottles of wine normally bear a wax seal of the city it came from...i have found where it says it is never served in silver but hasn't found supporting quote.
This is the red rich wine made from the fruit of the yellow Ka-la-na tree. Like most wines it is bottled, kept in wine skins (or botas), or on occasion, flasks. Ar is famous for it's Ka-la-na bottlers. Ka-la-na is a plentiful, heady wine served in goblets or tankards.Sometimes it is diluted with warm water before serving and can be either sweet or dry. Other Men prefer to have it warmed over a fire in a copper bowl and served in a wine crater. Ka-la-na is also sometimes warmed over a fire, and spices added; this is like the mulled wines on Earth. "Yes! It would be the one that would be red with Ka-la-na..." Tarnsman of Gor, page 79 * "...drops of a red, wine like drink made from the fruit of the Ka-la-na tree" Tarnsman of Gor, page 68 * "...kicking from my path a Ka-la-na container, splashing the fermented red liquid across the stone surface " Tarnsman of Gor, page79 * "The Ka-la-na thicket was yellow in the distance..." Captive of Gor, page 250
Heated ka-la-na, with mulling spices. Usually garnished with a piece of ka-la-na fruit or tospit, served in a goblet. " Captive of Gor * "Aphris got up and fetched not a skin, but a bottle, of wine, Ka-la-na wine, from the Ka-la-na orchards of great Ar itself..." Nomads of Gor, page 15 * "I went to his locker near the mat and got out his Ka-la-na flask; taking a long draught myself and then shoving it into his hands. He drained the flask in one drink and wiped his hand across his beard, stained with the red juice of the fermented drink." Tarnsman of Gor, page 168

;D WOW, you put lots of work and thought into this taki, way to go. I am glad you were able to find the two diffferent types of paga and pray you never get into the sul paga, that stuff will make you blind. As to green paga, as one of the Green Caste I would simply use paga as a disinfectant to sterilize the rep bandages and equipment.
In so far as the metal containers not be used....because they may be poisonous, dont look any further, you wont find anything to substantiate it. Anything that can hold wine is fine!!! But yes generally in goblets, and if a bottle is asked for it is always opend and poured in front of the Free you are serving. Well done taki, I like all the quotes you used to substantiate what you were saying!!! Excellent dear girl.
Affectionately,
Karinna
